In June I met our guest K’von Henderson at NECANN. K’von is creating a new social networking app dedicated to cannabis users. The app is called Smokebud. It’s dedicated to connecting nearby smokers looking to have a session with others as well as buy and sell cannabis essentials. In this episode, K’von shares his story on how he got to the idea, how he’s rolling it out, and his future goals.

K’von has shared, “When you think about the world and how it’s structured, you’ll notice it’s conditioned to make life easier for everyone. In addition, I composed a list of common barriers a smoker would often face such as: not having any weed, nothing to smoke with, nowhere to smoke, nobody to smoke with, and the list goes on. SmokeBud was designed to eliminate those barriers by connecting you with dispensaries, a marketplace where you can purchase weed essentials, a location to meet, and someone to get high with.”
