It’s risky being a farmer, even more so if you’re a cannabis or hemp farmer. Too often farmers have taken the plunge to grow a crop, only to find no one interested in buying their harvest. This is where Kifcure provides a solution.
In this episode we return to the USA CBD Expo and meet Kelly Burke. Kelly is the Director of Operations at Kifcure, a total hemp solutions company. They help farmers get started by developing genetic seeds, seedlings and clones. Kifcure is skilled in extraction and infusing the high quality cannabinoids into easily accessible products. Kelly shared that Kifcure is researching the fiber market and believe it provides extraordinary opportunity.
KifCure Mission for Hemp Farmers
Kelly shared that KifCure has a mission that’s committed to provide security for farmers. Since the passing of the 2018 Farm bill that legalized the (regulated) production of hemp; KifCure wants to see farmers thrive and succeed. They work with nearly 150 farmers throughout the Midwest. Their ideal partner is a farmer with a green house and experience with hand picked vegetables. Given the pollen spread caused by tornados, they have found that green houses are best for medicinal CBD. In a greenhouse you can control all the variables.
Cannabinoid Extractions and Infusions
At the expo we spoke about their house brands: Crafted Bites and Delights gummies as well as teas. They currently produce CBD only products and distill the minor cannabinoids and terpenes. These extractions create the ability to produce a number of products, e.g. skin care. What they produce is dependent on the interest of the clients.
Lastly, within the hemp/cannabis market they have the ability provide marketing services: build pitch decks, websites, eCommerce and SEO services.
