What’s working? The state of Illinois has been able to legalize both medical and adult use, while neighboring states have done neither. The state has been able to raise $560Million in taxes and streamlined the medical card process.
What’s not working? Not easy to run ads on social media. Ads get blocked or advertisers get shadow banned. Cannabis still has a stigma. People are afraid to come out and admit they are using it. The award of licenses has been slow and unfair. This could be due to multiple issues, or maybe all at the same time.
